 Finance Lease

Fixed or variable rate facilities are available under single or master lease arrangements.  Terms, residuals and rental frequency may be structured to suit a client's specific requirements.

Off Balance Sheet facilities complying fully with prevailing domestic and international accounting standards and structured to meet taxation and Loan Council requirements for statutory authorities are available.  Structures may be tailored to facilitate the acquisition of a variety of equipment types.

Traditionally one of the most cost effective ways to finance a major equipment acquisition. Fixed and variable interest rates apply and the structures are readily varied to incorporate a variety of ancillary domestic and international funding techniques.

 Independent Structure Analysis

As ASF is wholly independent, we are able to assess if lessees are entitled to rental reductions following changes to corporate tax rates.  This is particularly relevant to structures where the lessor is maintaining an "after tax" yield/rate of return.  (This type of review may be undertaken on a 'cost savings achieved' renumeration basis if required.)  ASF are also able to restructure transactions to take advantage of differing tax rates applying to income versus capital gains.

 Lease Restructuring

Transactions can range from a simple consolidation and refinancing of existing high priced leasing or commercial hire purchase ('CHP') facilities at prevailing market interest rates, to restructuring complex equity and leveraged lease facilities in order to optimise a lessor's changed corporate tax rate.

 Cross Border Lease 

Generally apply to very large plant items imported from offshore for Australian "Rated" companies, subsidiaries of multinational or Governments.  Frequently these structures contain multiple currency debt and utilise foreign export credit agencies such as US Eximbank, ECGD, EDC, COFACE, etc.
